Mafia Game #4 Thread - DIY Christmas Killing Spree

Things to remember:

2) When you vote to lynch, please do so by saying Vote: [Player] in bold. If you wish to change your vote, please say Change Vote: [Player] instead. Voting "Nobody" is a valid vote; if a majority votes for 'nobody' then nobody will be lynched and we'll move on to the Night phase.

3) If your role says you may use your power, you don't have to do anything at night if you so choose. Even so, it'll speed things along quite a bit if you'd still just send me a PM saying "Not using my [whatever] power tonight, thanks."

4) If your role says you must use your power, and you don't PM me, I'll randomly pick what you do. Or, perhaps, not-so-randomly. Don't blame me if you end up dead because you targeted the wrong person.

5) You may NOT send a PM to anyone about this game unless your role explicitly says you can. This is cheating. Nor can you discuss this game in any other thread than this.

6) Do NOT edit your posts in this thread. This is cheating.

7) Please do not copy-and-paste anything from any PM I send you to the thread. This is also cheating.

8) Please do not post in this thread after you are killed. This, too, is cheating and can ruin the game if done wrong. Dead men tell no tales. Also, do not discuss anything with other any other players (alive or dead) if you are dead. In situations like this, death is not always the end.

9) Please do not post pictures in this thread, it will get very tedious if it's clogged up with crap.

10) Remember, it's just a game. You will get paranoid, you will be stabbed in the back by someone, you will see somebody do or say something stupid and want to smack them. Just breathe deep and relax. If things get out of hand, we do have a mod playing who will forcibly remind you to chill out if needed. It hasn't happened yet, and we'd all like to keep it that way.

12) There is a special rule in this game: Crime Scene Investigation. When someone dies, the first three people to PM me with a request to search their death scene will receive extra information that might not have been apparent before.

You can only investigate one crime scene per day.

Night 1 is now over

An icy chill blew through the town. Christmas was the only think to look forward to in this wintry time of death.

His work was done, he had dug several big holes outside someone's house. He returned home.

A man came out the house, and not seeing the holes in his front garden, fell into one.

A few minutes later, a woman crept up to the house, with the intent to play a pratical joke on the occupant. In the darkness she didn't see the hole outside the back door, and with a little shriek she fell down into the hole.

Neither was able to get out the holes until the morning, when help came.

The giant dog slept in it's huge kennel, it's three heads rested on the floor.

A man approached the kennel, unafraid of the monster. He saw how the brains of the dog worked, and realised this would be easy.

The dog yelped in pain as the man held his finger up in front of the dog's heads, causing it's forheads to rip apart.

With the monster dead, the man left, feeling more powerful.

Chuck is dead. He was Cerberus, the giant three-headed dog and guardian of Hades.

A man walked down the street, guns hidden in holsters underneath his jacket. Tonight he would be playing detective.

He heard a call, "Hey, over here!" The voice came from a youthful boy, forever high-pitched because he would never reach puberty.

The man was intrigued by this call, and decided to change his route to follow it. However, the boy had disapeared by the time the man could get close.

He turned a corner, trying to find the boy, and bumped into a man wearing a strange uniform, with the word "WASH" written on a badge.

"Who are you?" asked the detective.

"Why should I tell you?" said the uniformed man.

"Because I believe there is a killer in this town, and he needs to be found."

"Good luck, I'm not going to tell you anything."

The detective narrowed his eyes. There was something fishy about this man. He knew a guilty man when he spoke to one.

"I'll be keeping an eye on you, WASH" the detective said, reading the badge on his uniform.

The two men went their separate ways. When the detective had left to go home, the uniformed man laughed, and suddenly, he was someone else.

The man who he had impersonated was asleep at home, unaware that he was now considered a guilty man.

A resident of the town got ready to go out. Tonight he would be looting, for new items.

As he tried to leave his house, suddenly a load of coloured blocks fell from the sky, blocking his way. He would have to stay in.

There was a knock at his back door. A man stood there.

The occupant of the house opened the door, and heard what the man had to say. He spoke only in the third person. After a quick decision, the occupant rejected the man's offer.

The occupant was about to go to bed when another man knocked on his back door.

"I think it's time for you to take some time off." said the man at the door.

One player cannot post during day 2. They will not be included when calculating the majority.

A woman arrived back at her house, her night's efforts unsuccessful, gone with the icy wind.

She heard a small voice "Don't try anything funny, lady! I have a gun pointed at your head. Now you will comply with me, or face the consequences."

The woman looked at the little thing that was in her fishtank in disbelief.

"I have already sent the ransom note. They have three days to meet our demands, or you will die."

The woman laughed. How could this little shrimp thing do anything?

One player has been taken hostage, but by an incompetant hostage-taker. The hostage will be able to do things at night as usual. A ransom demand has been sent to another player, and if the demand is not met by Night 4, the hostage will be killed.

Two men broke into a house.

The occupant lay in bed, fast asleep.

The first man pointed his wand at the man asleep, and shouted "AVADA KEDAVRA!"

A flash of green light appeared, and the target was dead.

The killer said to his partner "Feast well."

Shorty is dead. It is impossible to see who he was, because his body has been eaten.

The winged woman decided now was the time to wreak some havoc. She found her target, who was asleep, having already been interviewed by a detective. Now he was under her control.

"Go!" she said to him telepathically.

He got up, and made his way to his target.

The woman left.

A man cursed. He would have been able to have his way with the mind controlled man, if he had been asleep. There would be no nightmare tonight.

The dog walked down the street, ready to freeze his target. A man stepped out of the darkness.

"Allow me to offer you some protection." the man said.

"Thanks." said the dog, happy for any protection he could get.

They proceeded, and were soon met with a man. It was the winged-woman's puppet.

"He is not in his own mind." said the man protecting the dog. "He's a threat."

Before the dog could say anything to stop the man at his side, he threw a stake at the mind controlled man. However, the stake didn't reach it's target.

From a nearby bush another man jumped and threw the puppet to the ground, the stake narrowly missing his head.

"He's a friend!" said the saviour. "Someone is playing with his mind!"

The man protecting the dog glared at the man on the ground. "Let's go." he said to the dog.

The dog and the protecter walked off.

The saviour got up, and left, all the time being watched by a tall ghostly white man with slits for a nose.


A man with a certain authority walked onto the scene. He grabbed the mind controlled man by the shoulder, and pulled him from the ground.

"I think you should take some time off." He said, before leaving.

One player has been silenced, and cannot post during day 3. They will not be included when calculating the vote majority.

Then, a man wearing strange clothes grabbed the silenced, mind controlled man and took him away. Tonight the thumb screws and burning hot iron would be used. However, the torturer would get no information from the silent man.

Meanwhile, a man broke into the house mind controlled man's house. He was looking for some clues, and maybe a valueable artifact.

Before he could pull the trigger, the dog blasted a beam of icy from his eye, causing the attacker to be incased in ice.

They proceeded, and were soon met with a man. It was the winged-woman's puppet.

"He is not in his own mind." said the man protecting the dog. "He's a threat."

Before the dog could say anything to stop the man at his side, he threw a stake at the mind controlled man. However, the stake didn't reach it's target.

From a nearby bush another man jumped and threw the puppet to the ground, the stake narrowly missing his head.

"He's a friend!" said the saviour. "Someone is playing with his mind!"

The man protecting the dog glared at the man on the ground. "Let's go." he said to the dog.

The dog and the protecter walked off.

The saviour got up, and left, all the time being watched by a tall ghostly white man with slits for a nose.


A man with a certain authority walked onto the scene. He grabbed the mind controlled man by the shoulder, and pulled him from the ground.

"I think you should take some time off." He said, before leaving.

One player has been silenced, and cannot post during day 3. They will not be included when calculating the vote majority.

Then, a man wearing strange clothes grabbed the silenced, mind controlled man and took him away. Tonight the thumb screws and burning hot iron would be used. However, the torturer would get no information from the silent man.

Meanwhile, a man broke into the house mind controlled man's house. He was looking for some clues, and maybe a valueable artifact.


Ok... so I figured this much out:
Obviously, the controlled man is Cube, after all he was the talk of the town during day 1 and it pretty much settles it that it's him, due to the huge amount of targeting of wich he was a victim.
Now... Ashmat was convinced Cube was evil... and Ashmat was a good guy, we learned that when he died...
So, now we pretty much now for a fact that Cube is in fact good, as it was pointed out several times that he wasn't in his right mind, and was a friend and so on. So, what got Ashmat all worked up?
Aren't we doing the same mistake Ashmat did concerning Cube, this time with McMad? Until I hear some solid arguments, I won't vote for anyone.

Plus: there's always the possibility that Cube is evil. After all, all we know is that he's friends with this dog who can freeze... Now, if Ashmat was ready to openly state that Cube is evil, he must've had some certainties... and if Cube really is evil...that means the dog is evil too, wich would make the nazi (We all know it's Hitler, right?) either neutral or good. And this supposedly is McMad we're talking about.
My say is... this is all too shaky to jump to conclusions. Gaggle, speak up, what makes you so sure?

Suddenly, two men stepped out in front of them. One had a moustache and greased down hair, the other brilliant eyes and blood-stains on his lips from a previous feast.

The man with the moustache pulled out a gun, and pointed it at the man protecting the dog.

"Gerade dankbar seien sie gehen zu Auschwitz nicht" he said.

Before he could pull the trigger, the dog blasted a beam of icy from his eye, causing the attacker to be incased in ice.

The partner of this man cursed, and before he could be iced, ran away.

The protecting man thanked the dog for saving him, and returned home.
