Is anyone having trouble finding Dawn of Sorrow ?
Went into Gamestation to trade in Nintendogs (it was an impulse buy) and they did not have it, that was two weeks ago and they still dont have it in stock.
Went into Game just to check if they had and they are also out of stock.
Play are out of stock and Amazon give a delivery time of 1-2 weeks.

Yeah.
I went in on the saturday after launch, sold out.
But the following weekend, I decided to buy it.
And I haven't seen it since!!

There wasn't a copy in my GAME either. HMV had a copy, though.

This probably isn't much use to anyone but I was shopping in Norwich earlier today and there were quite a lot of copies about in various shops. If anyone wants it desperately I could buy a copy and post it on! :p

Bought mine the day it came out in Europe, they had a few copies in Gamestation, Game and HMV when I last looked about a week ago. The three GBA Castlevania games are quite hard to find now, maybe the DS version will become as rare.
I havent seen any copies of Castlevania either. Even the online I'm usually ordering from says it's delivery time is 3-4 weeks.
It's just like Aria of Sorrow all over again, I've seen that game only once! Konami, bring in more copies please!

I might just order it from VGP, should get here before GameStation gets more stock. Only thing is I am now stuck with Nintendogs until something good gets released here.
Bugger.

I did, because they aren't selling the game in Holland. Try www.bol.com, I ordered my copy there and got it in 2 days.

Wow, the BOL in Holland sells games! The one in the UK just sells books.

I was thinking of getting this. But there are too many games I want for the Cube this Q4 of the year.

Doesn't the UK part sell games? :s weird. (Maybe because it started as a dutch company). Maybe you can try lik-sang.com then, for a US version. Tomorrow I'll search for a different site to order the game.
Bol.com is expensive. I wouldn't buy there, though they seem to have Castlevania copies ready to ship :)

I don't think it's very expensive. Normal games here are €40/€45, and I bought Castlevania for €41,98.
Anyway, if you're still searching for the game:

and for a full list of prices:

I hope you find the game. I really enjoy it. :)

STILL not in shops in the UK, only through online. I got mine from gameplay.co.uk as amazon was out of stock.
I love this game. After all these years I had this nostalgia thing for side scrollers, yet I had not encountered a game that genuinely fascinated me and forced me to play on. This one does. I can't help picking it up here and there, why's that? I don't know, but there's something about it. I guess it feels more RPG-ish in terms of achievement value.

Me too, I totally loved it! :)
I really can't wait for the next one. The Aria + Dawn of Sorrow storyline was pretty cool, I wonder what they will do next...

I work in one of the bigger virgin mega's and we've got plenty of copies (5), and most of the chain has got them in stock.
Still haven't seen a copy yet. Some online stores say it's yet to be released in Holland. I'll just wait till I find one. Hopefully not doing an 'Aria of Sorrow' again, ie nowhere to be found...

Konami tend to only release one batch of 'vania games and then bam - that's it, no joy. It's annoying as all get-out, but it ensures the fans get their games at launch, I guess.
I'm sure I saw a copy in GAME in Sheffield just the other week, though.

No it's not, they say they never heard of the game or don't know a release date, but sites like Bol.com got it in stock right from the release date. I live in Holland too, so my advise: import it or buy it from Bol.

I was genuinely under the impression that it was only released for online retailers in the UK...!! I didn't know this was all due to limited supply.
I learn something new everyday...
