My first ever thread!

Simply, i would like to ask, what is your favourite food?

Does N-E love a traditional English roast dinner, or do we prefer something more exotic from far far away??

I'll start with mine:

Starter/Side: I love a bit of garlic bread. Especially when it's ciabatta. Yum.
Main: Carbonara pasta. I could eat loads of that stuff. Tis pasta from heaven.
Dessert:Vanilla Ice Cream. Tis the only dessert i eat. Apart from Hot Chocolate Fudge Brownie Sundae at Hard Rock Café. Yum.

Your Turn.

A Full Irish has fried eggs, rashers, sausages, beans, black and white pudding, boxty (fried potato pancakes/hash browns), fried tomatoes and soda bread and various other stuff.

Not sure exactly what is in a Full English, but I know they're similar.

Not exactly, but similar.

Similar? That's exactly the same. As well as a Full Scottish Breakfast and a Full Welsh Breakfast.

Soda bread is some sort of irish bread. I made it in year 8 in food tech. Can't remember what it was like though.

Do ye have boxty in Englnd, Wales and Scotland?

Or white pudding? I though White pudding was peculiar to Ireland.

Indian
- Meat Samosa
- Popadoms
- Chicken Passanda/Badaami (Though rare) or Korma.
- Pilau Rice...(Although last week I tried Keema Rice...which = DELICIOUS)

Pizza
- Garlic Bread w/ Mozzerella for starter.
- Pepperoni/Meaty type ones. (They do one at my fav Italian called "Tre Gusti" its Pepperoni, Seasoned Chicken, Bacon and....I have extra mozzerella on all my pizzas)
- Hawain(Sp?)

Roast Chicken is good

All you can eat Chinese is good.

But as stated above, Indian is my favourite.

Easy meal:
Pasta bake of chopped ham and pork, pasta and cheese sauce with cheese on top.

When I go to union for breakfast:
Sausage sandwiches!

To have with a movie:
Pizza (spicy meat feast, meat feast or uber cheese, or if the g/f's picking, ham and pineapple) with garlic bread and possibly salad.

Sandwich:
Ham, cheese, lettuce, cucumber, onion... and some crisps! It makes me feel 8 again.

Take-away:
Indian food, curries etc, korma. Only thing I don't like is the raisins.
Southern fried chicken
Bacon Double Cheeseburger
Donner Kebab with naan and salad

yknow I was gonna make a food thread... weird.

Am I right in saying the Irish only call it a Full Irish because they don't want to eat Anything called Full English, no matter how similar or exactly the same it is....

Or is that just blind ignorance...

Anyway

Starter: Prawn Cocktail
Main: Tacos + Salad
Desert: Apple Crumble + Custard
