Just wondering if anyone here plays a lot of PC gaming. Might be a good idea to share Xfire tags, etc. just get more online gaming.

At the moment you'll find me playing Quake 3 Arena/Team Arena, all Command & Conquers (except Tiberium Wars) although I am utter useless, World Of Warcraft and Counterstrike: Source. Also take a look at my xfire profile and ask me to play on any other games too, and I'll be happy to maybe buy a few more PC games too if they're knocking about at a good price.

Rubbish.

The two co-exist quite nicely. I don't think there has ever been any significant debate on consoles eroding the PC market.

The PC market is also in a reasonably good position. A decent gaming rigs is not cheap, it also comes with high maintenance (for a dedicated PC gamer, components are regularly upgraded).

Its perceived as complicated. Upgrades, security, complex configurations - its just out of the interest of the general gamer.

Piracy is driving publishers away, and with nothing to play gamers will leave too. The PC market needs to get a grip of the issue, DRM, one-time codes; whatever. PC gamers will moan and gripe, but IP needs to be protected.
