Yo,
I have been playing this a little at a time since I got it last week, and I have to warn you - its a must have :) The story and characters are all fantastic, as are the intuitive mechanics. I guess the best way to describe it is that the game makes sense. If you press someone on a part of their testimony that you think might be slightly out, they will ask exactly what you were thinking. The game has been perfectly gauged to channel you into thinking what the dev team wanted you to, rather than feeling cheated because your character has asked a completely different question to the one you thought needed asking. If thats confusing, well...I guess you will have to play it :)
It is fairly short in terms of the main story, which only spans 3 cases. After this however, there are a further two cases to solve; these are lengthy, and will require multiple sessions in the courtroom as well as Phoenix using all of his detective skills to find clues to help him out. Definitely worth it, even if just for the one playthrough IMO.
I guess the only real negative is that you cant really make a difference depending on what you choose to say in court - I mean, you can get everything right and move on, or get everything wrong and lose, but thats pretty much it. Still, I think adventure fans will love it. Get it now!
