Its that time of the year again, the premierleagues fantasy football is up and runing again. Same rules as last year, 100m to spend on 11 players and 4 subs. Once you have created a team join the mini league I have set up. Just enter the code 90525-84672 to join it.

Ok I've Joined the league :)

Got a nice little defensive unit of - Van De Saar, Campbell, Distin and Cashley Cole. Confident United and Chelsea will keep clean sheets + Cole will get assists. And the 2 pompey center backs, cos there record was awesome last season and they have only improven defensively.

Midfield of Ronaldo and Gerrard, no explanations needed. Got Bentley as he is a real handful and gets on the end of free kicks, assists and goals. Diop cos he is Fulhams anchor and prevents goals being scored against them, also got a good goal return.

And Rooney and Van Persie up top, as I think this will be both players defining season. Forsell was a steal at 5 mill and I think he will be Birminghams hitman. He has scored lots in the Prem before, so he can do it again.

The other players I chose are all fucking shit, as they were put in just so I would not go above budget.

Bring it on boys, I am confident :)

Entered. My team was awful last season, though my main forwards (Henry and Marlon King) spent most of the season on the physio's table. I was too proud last season and didn't want to pick too many big names, this year I buckled and picked a few. Though does mean my subs are crap.

well yeah but theyll have a game in hand later on in the season so it will even itself out. no point being top after 2 games if you're not there at the end.

By the time the other clubs have their game in hand I'll have players from those clubs transferred in anyway though. So anyone who played game week 2 with only 8 players, 3 of whom were their crap subs, aint gonna catch up as much as they hope.

I threw it away the week before last when I made Young captain instead of Ronaldo, Villa then went and lost to Wigan :( while Ronaldo got 2 against West Ham.

In other news, I also won my work league and got £100 for it. Would have got £50 for winning the cup as well but I lost by two points in the final to a guy in 16th place in a giant killing. Got two lots of £10 for manager of the month awards as well over the course of the season.
