My uncle dumped his computer on me to fix as it was infested with spyware and was experiencing some pretty nasty explorer crashes.
I decided to upgrade from 98 to 2000, and hopefully fix the continuous explorer crashes.
I ran the 2000 setup. Setup ran as expected the first time, but on a required reboot the setup began all over again! Now it just seems stuck in a loop of installing, rebooting, and starting over again!
I have no idea how to fix this, I don't get a chance to insert any disk other than the install disk and I can't get a command line or anything up.
At the moment I'm considering installing a new HD, and doing a clean install and transferring the old files from the f**cked up HD.
