Looking for a new ds game? Get fifa

Hi i picked up fifa yesterday. I was abit unsure as heard mixed reviews on it. The truth id though its great.

Heres a mini review

Graphics :7

Runs at a very smooth frame rate. Alot of camera angles. Tghe one it comes set on doesnt do the graphics justice change it to action and walla looks like a n64 game. The plays are not very detailed , but who really cares on a handheld games. The kits are the latest ones and you can see the badges and sponsers etc. The shirts contain the name and number. (alothough can only really see them in the replys).

The replys are great u can move around with the touch screen zoom in put it in slow motain. Move it frame by frame. A very nice feature.

Sound :10

Best sound I have ever heard on the ds. Features full lentgh songs (sounds great). Has a one man comentater who has alot to say :) and doesnt reapeat himselof much at all. There is chants aswell.

Overall great audio from the ds well done e.a . (lets hope for music in the next nfs)

Gameplay : 9

Great for all gamers. There are different hardness levels. It starts on beginer which I fort was to easy. I cranked it up to ameture and its now a chalenge with draws loses and wins :) . The controlls are good and set out like the console ones. The last fifa I have is fif 045 (for gamecube and it has come along way from there , as has the console versions I beleive).

Multiplayer :10

Great fun 2 player single cart. I think the best multiplayer game yet on the ds (until mario kart ofcourse). With single cart it sendas over the games and sound afex (no comentating).

It also has 4 player where all of you have the cart )not tried this yet.

Lasting appeal : 9

There is alot of modes , career , chalenges ( matches that have hapend in the past and you have to recreat them for example on one a team ios losing with 30 mins to go you have to come back and win it) , season , multiplayer quick start cups etc.

Overal : 9

I never know what to say. I don't actually like doing it, it seems like you're just ripping off the shop because they can't sell the game as new anymore just because you didn't like it. I usually say I've completed it though or with a game like FIFA just say it's too easy and you win every match 5-0 on World Class (and hope they don't ask you to show them). :heh:

Ive never really fancied playing football games, Ive always found them rather boring but this new FIFA sounds rather good, my friend at school sed it was good (although that wasn't the ds, it was the Gamecube version) and sed i should get it, I got nintendogs instead which is really cool but i think i might consider buying fifa.

since fifa 99, I really have gone off the fifa games. I think I'll just wait for Pro Evo on the PSP.

If I take a game back i just say; "Can I bring this back" and hand it over! original huh! and if they ask, "Is there any reason", I just usually say "No not really" or sometime "I wasn't really sure about it" or something!

What we need is something like international Superstar Soccer on the 64 with the real player names this time :D I don't care about the teams names cos the names they came up for the ISS series of games on the 64 were terrible.
