i lost the remote but it didn't matter because there wasn't anything good on. what ever happened to hogan's heroes or gilligan's island? they had reruns but never on at the right time. then there's too many ads. i don't even think my remote had any batteries in it, the channels would just look different because there were ads every two seconds.
hmmmm.

i watch eastenders, and watched lost for a while until i realised that it's melodramatic crap. desperate housewives is cool too, but you're right, most tv is rubbish these days. think of it as a good thing though, it allows you to do better things with your time.

There are quite a few funny moments, most of them dark though.

I found the episode titled "Numbers" quite amusing.

I don't really watch that much TV. The only programs I regularly watch are Scrubs, Spooks, Lost and occasionally the Simpsons (if its a good episode). I almost never watch ITV. I don't know why, but all of their programs are basically the same and just feel so completely dull and ITV like. C4 is prolly the best channel on normal TV.

Lost is very badly written and very overdramatic. I hate all the characters, I've never laughed at all and I find it annoying thta everyone with a speaking role is still alive.

Now its just sex, lame American comedies, lame Dutch "comedies", damn soap operas please die already ;_; Makeobver programs oh the horror of makeover programs ;_;

Everyone is so shallow and it shows, "you must be beautifull or you dont fit in in our perfect little money-driven world" T_T Where is the respect????
I mean, no wonder people wanna lose weight and shit, they just being brainwashed by all this shallow crap. I'm telling ya, people would have been alot happier about their looks if there was no TV. 0_0 In fact, I wish TV was never invented

I don't watch TV that much anymore although I do watch The Simpsons and malcolm in the middle occasionally. I whach lost very week and the most sad programs I watch are "How clean is your house" Don't know why, In just like watching that, lol and "Super nanny" with all the evil kids. I like Rock school and The unteachables. I used to like balls of steel but its finished!! :( So I watch TV about 1-2 hours a day. I don't think that's much, well its not as much as I used to whach it anyway.

Get Sky and then your pretty much sorted 24/7. Even then if you're not happy get Prem Plus and then there's pretty much always a good ole match you watch.

AND if that doesn't fill ye boots, try and watch the reruns of Bodger and Badger http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/images/1024/bodgerandbadger_1.jpg

"A sitcom that originally followed the adventures of an odd-job man, Simon Bodger, and his pet badger. In the first series Bodger worked at Troff's Nosherama where he tried to keep the existence of his badger a secret. The second and third series had the pair at Letsby Avenue Junior School, where once again Simon tried to hide Badger from prying eyes. The fourth series found Bodger looking for new jobs and the fifth and sixth saw the emphasis move away from Bodger's involvement towards a straight puppet series that followed the escapades of Badger and his friend Mousey. The format changed slightly in the eighth series, when the three main characters and Millie ran a seaside hotel, Seagull's Rest."

TV at it's best. End Of.

Ok lets face it, the 5 analogue terrestrial channels we get in the UK don't offer too much (apart from neighbours as mentioned above!). There's no way I'm gonna pay £trillions per month to watch Sky - because lets face it, I could waste my whole life away channel hopping. So anyway, last week I bought myself a cheap little freeview set top box from Argos which was only £30. Okay so most of the channels are a bit pants (those shopping ones, and BBC and ITV's extra channels) but there is some quality programmes on such as most of the shows on MM (men & motors), and on E4 there's tons of classic Friends episodes. And if/when I get bored of watching all that, there's even digital radio available on freeview too so I listen to Kerrang! all the time. In conclusion, freeview makes me happy and even though I don't watch much TV, at least now there's always something I can watch when I'm bored. :)

UK: Series 3 or 4 on BBC confusion

Last week we announced that Family Guy will start showing on BBC2 in the UK from Saturday 22nd October at 10.35pm. However, there has been some confusion over which series will be being shown. A press release from the BBC implies that the first episode will be The Thin White Line from series 3. However, an earlier press release stated that the BBC had bought series 4, not 3! A number of you have been pointing out that your TV listings (such as the Radio Times and DigiGuide) are listing The Thin White Line as the episode to be shown on the 22nd October, it should of course be pointed out that such information comes from the BBC’s press office, so the TV listings just list the episode revealed in the press release. If the BBC have made a mistake, and the first episode will be from series 4 then the correction will appear as a press release.

While it would be great to see series 4 on BBC2 in a weeks time at the moment it looks less likely, but at least Family Guy is finally back on UK terrestrial tv. Also, the BBC have started running a promotional trailer for Family Guy and American Dad, featuring an animated George W. Bush and Tony Blair talking on the phone about the two shows, across the BBC channels (watch out for it).

Meik

Its a show you need to watch all season, as you find out tidbits about Lilly Kane's murder. Hmm you watched the 12th episode which is... Clash of the Tritons. Which is okay from what I remember. Its a SoCal rich-kid town, hence the token black guy, in white episode he sees people playing hackeysack and says how its a sign of the white domination in the town (in a jokey sarcastic way, not a "this world is racist!" kinda way.)

Anyway thanks for trying, at least you tried. :D

I watched that a wee while back. At first I was confused. Then I gradually became scared due to not being able to tell who was real any more. By the end I felt as if I'd had a lobotomy. Part of my mind had been savagely beaten through catchy euro-pop but I was quite relaxed and happy about it. Suddenly the world seemed much better and more colourful. All in all, I agree it is good.
