I half feel like taking a picture with my nose on, but I'm too lazy to get the camera and my reader, so I won't bother.
Obviously, I've bought a nose, and I might donate some money tomorrow, though it won't be alot because I'm not too rich at the moment, but something is better than nothing.

I will be working on the show tomorrow night also a fun night. At the moment I am watching RND does the Apprentice and its pretty funny, Trinny Woodall
is off her head is is just crazy! and Rupert Everett walked off the show cos he dont like camera's! he is an actor he earns his living from standing in front of camera's.

I'll probably be donating some...it's helping after all.
It's been charity week all week at school this week. My group made £420 which I was really impressed with.

Never heard of it before. Care to explain it someone?

May try and pick up a nose tomorrow before work and may wear it, but after I nearly broke my nose when I was young it hurts to wear anything on my nose.
Am going to wear a red scarf though.

It's synonomous with comic relief really.
Basically a big charity event where comedians and comediennes and celebritites and other people all get together to raise money, usually in some way through comedy. That's a pretty basic summing up. Something it's had since it started though, is Red Nose Day, you buy these little noses which are red, and you wear them! They cost like £1, with the majority of that going to charity beyond processing costs.
The event occurs every two years, around march(3rd friday?), in the odd years, and the nose is different every time(sometimes has a face). Except, it's always red :D
There will be lots of stuff happening on the show tomorrow night, which goes out live on bbc1. I dunno if they still do it, but they used to set targets like if they raise x amount of money by z oclock, they'll show such and such comedy. I swear I remember them doing that one year...I think. I was wee, I forget.
Ashley, this year's nose is basically just a red sponge with a slit cut down it, so it probably shouldn't hurt too much really.
Problem I have with red noses, is they never seem to fit properly, so they fall off, or fit too tight and hurt!
EDIT:That smilie made me think, with the internets being popular and that now, they should make red nose smilies!
Ahh wikipedia, god bless you! Brings back memories this;

The new red noses are comfy, stay on your nose and they have customizable stickers, but they do stink a bit. I guess youd get used to it after a while.
They're better to lob i reckon. Oh yeah, you know that girl who wears the nose on her ear in the adverts? Well ive gone one better, if you put it on your chin it looks like a really cool beard.
So red beard day would be quite appropriate
Ive made some lushious chocolate brownies with cherries im selling for comic relief at school, should be good!
Im happy because Im getting my wii tomorrow and its non-uniform!

This year's nose is ace. Stays on my nose and I can breath with it on. Plus, it just looks awesome. No silly gimmicks like hair or arms this time. Fantastic :)

They also have charity singles too, which is typically a cover of an old song spiced up somehow, again proceeds go to the charity.
What do people think of this year's single? I quite like it, video ain't too bad either! It's a good cover of a good song in my opinion.

Does anyone else find the Red Nose Day telly show a bit cringe worthy. I mean I'll happily give money to the charity, but the actual night itself I always find a bit dire. I pretty much agree with where Jack Dee was coming from on Celebrity Big Brother a few years back when he said the only reason he was in it was so he could raise money while avoiding the whole thing. ::shrug:
Anyhoo, I'll probably just cuddle up with my dogs and watch a film tonight instead.

I've seen him on a couple of things lately. Ade Edmindson was doing a programme about it and he was on that speaking about RND.
We didn't do anything at work for RND not even dress down day, very boring.

Also, I was on TV thanks to RND! South Today, at the end. Farnborough 6th made the huge figure 6 and the Nose from the sky, and you can see me with my harmonica in my hand when they talk to someone. I also have a shuffle around my neck :P

It was actually pretty funny, nice twist with the shakespeare, it made me kind of want to read romeo and juliet, which I realised I've never read.
As for Lenny Henry, I quite like him, though he does jarr a bit sometimes, he's better than some other so called 'comedians' though.
I just donated £10, I know it's not alot in the grand scheme of things, but it's quite alot for me at the moment, so I feel good about it :D
