And so after a super speedy delivery from VGP I received my copy of Warioware: Twisted yesterday.

I’m so glad to finally get my hands on this game, and what a great game might I just add! It had me in stitches as soon as I started playing it’s so damn funny, and although I’ve only played it for a few hours I already know for sure that this is the best of all the Warioware games, and so this instantly becomes my all time favourite GBA game, it’s extraordinary!

My advice to anyone still waiting for the European release is don’t! Get this game now it’s seriously worth the import and Nintendo of Europe have obviously made a big mistake somewhere along the lines what with the game still missing from this years release lists. I mean it’s exactly 1 year ago today that this game was released in Japan, 1 year! :eer: The fact that it’s not out in Europe by now is simply unacceptable, and you don’t have to accept it…

Right, I’m off to play some more of 9-Volt’s “Spintendo Classics!”

It is utterly insane that this game is not available here yet. There was a nice little slot where NOTHING was being released last month which would have been perfect for this.

Hmm, im sure I read an interview with Nintendo Europe saying they wouldnt do another Animal Crossing-style delay again, but now they go and practically cancel this game for europe.

Ah, you got it after all did you, RedShell? I never got round to importing a copy, but I've got quite a lot on my hands at the moment, so I'll probally do it if it doesn't appear on the Q1 2006 schedules.

Yeah I decided to get it before Advance Wars: DS comes out rather than wait any longer.
I asked about it in GAME ( :indeed: ) and they told me it was down for Q1 2006, but I’m still sceptical about it.

Its strange though as it would have been a great title to launch alongside the GBA micro, must be bloody difficult to play it on though as you have to rotate the GBA all the way round on some of the minigames, or you can turn on the spot! :p

A question for those who imported the game.
When you start Warioware: Touched! with Warioware: Twisted! inserted in the GBA slot you are supposed to unlock an extra.
Can you unlock this using the US version of Twisted! with the European release of Touched!, or will I have to wait for the European release of Twisted! ?

I got Wario Ware: Twisted! last Saturday. I imported it (from Video Games Plus too) because I got sick of waiting for the game and, to be honest, I don't think it's coming to Europe any more. First it was to be released on the 3rd of June this year, then it was suddenly put back to September, and now it seems to have completely disappeared from all release schedules. :hmm:

I've just tried that but couldn't see anything extra. :wtf:

We got Wario Ware: Twisted months and months ago in OZ. MY brother got it. I love it, especially Mewtroid and the Samurai minigames.

The only drawback is that I was playing it so much that my brother went and hid it from me. (It's in his drawer.)

WarioWare Touched! is better.

I'm planning to get that as well. I'm also eagerly anticipating the Revolution version.

OMG! I unlocked “Mewtroid” last night, the best minigame ever! I might even go as far as to say it’s worth getting Warioware: Twisted just for this game!

About the unlock-able extra in Touched, no it doesn’t work as European Touched doesn’t recognise the US version of Twisted. Still I think you just get Mona’s Pizza song (which is in Twisted anyway) with a video to accompany it. I’d be more annoyed if it was an extra game or something.

Yes, I believe the only unlockable is the "Mona Pizza video".

You got it a LLLOOOONNNNGGGG time ago, but haven’t unlock Mewtroid!?
It’s unlocked like the rest of the souvenirs by just playing through the main game (I’m pretty sure anyway  ).
Man you should definitely get playing to unlock it because it rules!

How is it to play with the DS?!

Sooj

To be honest, its a lot better playing it on the GBAsp but it is still really good on the DS. The GBAsp has a slight advantage because of its size but even though I have a GBAsp and DS I still play it on my DS the most lol

RedShell

I’m playing it mainly on my SP, although obviously it looks a lot better on the DS screen it’s easier to play on the SP and I’m more comfortable spinning that around as apposed to my shiny and still relatively new DS!

See the thread below by |Laguna| for WarioWare: Twisted (US version) at the bargain price of £20 from CD WOW!

I was just reading GameCentral on Channel 4's Teletext pages (375-379) and there's a review of WarioWare Twisted and they say that it's out now in the UK! Hmm, I don't think it is...

They must have just assumed the old Sept 30 UK release date was correct and not checked!

Yeah, I noticed that, Locky. They do admit on today's pages that it's been delayed again, though. They also say that a release date should be announced in the next week. I don't know where they got that from, but I hope they're right.

Sorry for dragging this thread up from the depths but I didn't really think there was much point in starting a new one.

Just found this on eBay:

WarioWare: Twisted! (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8243882828&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:UK:1)

Is it me or is there something wrong with that cartridge?! :p

I can't wait to get my hands on this game, it's tempting me to getting a GB Micro, I'm hoping they'll be uber cheap when it's come out over here... if th Micro still exists then.

I heard that this game doesn't work perfectly on the Micro, because the cartidge slot isn't in a completely central position.

I'm still looking forward to this.. Only a couple more months to go, unless it gets delayed again.

I'm really looking forward to this one. :) I'm waiting for the European launch though, because I don't have enough money to buy this game at the moment. I'm spending it for my 360 at the moment.

It's official, the people at Nintendo of Europe are the biggest bunch of idiots in the face of the planet. That, or they just love pissing off their clients.
Can you believe it: I just received an update from Gameplay saying the release date was changed AGAIN, this time to May 26.

Seriously, is it that hard to translate a game like this? I'm starting to seriously doubt they will release it at all...
I've been waiting for the European version simply because it unlocks a silly video of sorts in Wario Ware: Touched! (mine is the European version, so I need an European version of Twisted! too). My control freak nature... :D

I still can't believe how all these companies piss on their European clients, apparently in a time where piracy is all around they don't want the money of honest European customers interested in their products. I mean it's every single company, we get overpriced games at a much later date (if at all), we get consoles many months later at much higher prices than places like the US (I won't even mention what Sony did with the PSP, since that one must be some kind of new record for a console launch), ...
It's times like these I get really tempted to stop supporting Nintendo, this is not the way to treat their clients. I already had to cancel a pre-order for this game because my credit card used for it already expired, and things apparently aren't over yet...

That's totally ridiculous! I really can't understand why this game is taking so long to come out in Europe! It's not as if it's really text heavy or anything.

Look at the dates it was released elsewhere (according to ign.com):

US: May 23, 2005
Japan: October 16, 2004

(I bought a US copy from CD-WOW a few months ago cos I was getting so fed up of waiting for it to come out over here.)

I was pissed, so I emailed Nintendo UK about this, and the guy told me he had no news about any further delays, the info he had was still that the game would be out in February. Let's hope Gameplay is wrong about this...

Now that they have this technology, wouldn't they be able to utilise it in a racing game?
