VC: Kid Icarus(NES)

I have to ask how many people have ACTUALLY played this.

i'm not saying this is abad game but there are far better NES games out and i always hear people complaining that japan got this game on VC before we did.

It is an ok game it get's a tad dull and repetitive after a while. So honestly i don't see what fans see in this. But do you think it is worth a buy on VC? it's a no from me.

It's shitty game that is shrouded on veil of mystery, pretty much same way as Super Mario RPG and few other 1st party titles. Those who played game when it was first released are hyping the game, and as result of this, those who haven't played think that it is something special and wondrous. "I'm so cool because I have played this cool game that you haven't played".

the original game just doesnt hold up anymore but theres some cool mechanics in the game that would make for a good sequel.

I never played it, but apparently it's quite challenging. However, I will say this, is it a case of people seeing it through rose tinted spectacles? I remember loads of games being awesome but they're less than awesome when I reply them!

You shall be smited super mario rpg is in fact one of the snes's greatest ever games.

And kid icarus is shrouded in mystery because of the fact it was the same basic gameplay as metroid on the nes but better.
