I failed my first exam with 7 minors because I failed to signal four times. Four minors in the same thing = fail >.> and just think if I hadn't messed that up, that would've been a first time pass with 3 minors... how impressive would that have been!

Thanks guys, alot. My actual driving is apparently pretty perfect, its more my menuvers (sp) that are a little dodgy sometimes. I know exactly what to do untill I have to do it and stuff goes wrong XD.

But, if i concentrate i'll do fine and unforchunatly no amount of PGR3, Ridge Racer 6, Burnout Revenge or even Excite Truck are going to help :)

Yes on dry tarmac that's a good idea. But the experience from games can help when you drive on a slippery surface. Or at least help so that you won't panic when the car starts to slide.

The annoying thing though is the fact that I knew I was good enough, my driving instructor knew I was good enough, I just kept letting the occasion get the better of me and ended up making stupid mistakes!

In the end I just went in with a "I don't really care" attitude - helped me relax a bit and I passed!

Second time I failed was annoying, as I failed when I was reverse parking in the test centre...right at the end of the test. I was minutes away. Plus, I shouldn't have failed, as I thought my reverse park was fine. Still annoys me to this day.

I remember on my first test I failed because I apparently wasn't ever checking mirrors when pulling away, etc. I checked every fucking time! When I told my instructor he said that I had to make it overly obvious (as in twist my head right round), but its not my fault if the examiner is too retarded to do his job properly!

Next time drive through the terraforming icon, that should give you some extra points. Also if you happen to see a whole group of Elvis on the street, get all of them, that should give you a huge bonus.


At least that's what I did (more or less :P) and I also passed on my first attempt. But I had a very cool instructor. I had to drive to my home and back. I never drove fast than 40 km/h.

Jordan, you need to nip to the nearest Arcade and have a go on Crazy Taxi as God originally intended (with a steering wheel and pedals.) Only then will you have immense driving skills.
