Neighbours is the only soap that I would consider worth watching... yeah. Paul's leg eh...

Loved the episode when dirty doctor darcy came out of his coma, so how long untill he remembers izzy's little secret then?

Paul deserves everything that comes his wya (unless of course it is good!) after burning the pub, etc down

Finally what the hell is up with Cindy, knocking that guy of his bike, glad to see Stu's becoming suspicious!

Why don't you think it was her, she obviously has some dark mysterious past, the crap she spewed about the stories she was telling her disabled friend (forget her name) was basically what she wanted and so she saw an opportunity for Stu to go undercover and took it!

Also the scratches on the car and the furious washing of said vehicle, including taking the number plate off - false plates anyone?

Yes I love Darcy. I knew he was going to change into the good old rogue character that we all love at the end. You tell her Darcy! Oh and some good old house of trouser fun and of course some Cindy whining even though for once she was in the right.
Good neighbours fun, although this episode didn't have the older or younger demographic in today, they are some of the best characters Harold and the adventures of Sky etc. Well nm seeing Darcy back on form was classic enough.

It's ABOUT TIME the Issy story got interesting again; both Darcy and Paul found out AGES ago, and i thought each time then that she would be exposed, but no!

Oh and they've gotta start having Issy in more scenes like her bikini shop one the other day; she looked amazing!! :shock:

I'm not a soap person, but i think i will probably try and watch it every so often at Uni. I've been watching it for over 10 years now.

Thats a thought.. who's been watching the longest? who can remember Karl's affair with Sarah (i think)/ I can remember that, and i can remember toady's older brother at school and stuff.

I've been watching it for as long as I can remember and can easily recall the Karl/Sarah affair and laso that Toadie had a HUGE crush on Sarah when he first arrived! Stonefish was a legend!

I remember even further back than that though, there was that girl with the snake (who I think was called Phoebe) and the guy who was crossing the dual carriage way and got hit by the white van - classic flatline ending to that episode!

There have been sooo many classic episodes over the years!

Oh and does anyone remember the rumour that Ramsay Street was gonna be destroyed by a huge fire because they wanted to end the show (I believe that the fact it's so popular over here is one of the reasons why they kept it going)? Of course I could have just completely made that last bit up!

I know, that was one of the saddest things i have ever seen! I even went as far as to tell my brother to watch teh evening episode cause it made such little sense!

Scott and Charlene were Jason Donovan and Kylie's characters. Henry was of course Craig Mclachlan!

As for how long i've been watching it.... Pretty much since it started :red: With the likes of Shane Robinson, and Des and Daphne! Good times.

I easily remember the Karl and Sarah affair;

- I started watching it (i think, from what i can remember), when there were these two stunning twin sisters who worked in Lassiters and they worked for some guy who may have been called Mark? and i think one of the twins may have married him?!

Some classic moments i remember;
- Philip Martin and Julie Robinson; and Julie "feel" off the lighthouse(?) roof and there was all the mystery over her daughter debbie pushing her!
- Helen Daniels dies when sleeping next to grand-daughter Hannah
- When Harold got swept off the cliff out to sea
- The whole Darren and Libby story (also with Brett love triangle)
- Cheryl (Lou's wife) got kidknapped; then was found to have had a relationship with one of the hostages! Cheryl got run over (i think) by her daughter Danni,
- Luke and Danni; Luke got cancer
- Ben the mechanic (who was also a racer) has a huge car crash!
- Billy, Anne and Caitlins love triangle
- Drew (of Drew and Libby); dies in a horse riding accident; NOOOOOO!! :weep:

...well that's enough for now!!

My favourite time in Neighbours was when;
Libby, Mal, Toadey, Billy, Anne, Amy and Lance (and Caitlin; Boo!) were all in it towards the end of their school years; good group of friends!

Oh and does anyone remember the rumour that Ramsay Street was gonna be destroyed by a huge fire because they wanted to end the show

I was lauhging at the face he pulled. And congrats to Bree! The Drew dieing was weird, I missed that episode but I didn't hear any trace of it really, he died and has the funeral in one episode. I remember Helen Daniel's dieing. I think I started watching at about Lance's final year or so. It's been 7 months or so since the terrible fire, and the story is still going. Can't wait to see all of Afirmacons plans. Even though they've cleared off.

Well Dillon went to see Paul and asked him why he didn't want the op, and Paul said he was fed up of the fight, and Dillon said that doesn't sound like you;
Then Paul said he didn't know how long he'd remain conscious for, and ask Dillon to promise him that when he fell unconscious to not let the hospital have their way, and if necessary, go to the papers etc... and let everyone know that he has a right to his decision, and he's made his decision. Dillon agreed to do this;
However, when Paul fell unconscious, Dillon faked Pauls signature on the patient consent form and gave it to Karl, who said, well done Dillon, i don't know what you said to change his mind but well done, you've saved his life! Dillon look awkward because of what he's done;
Later Paul wakes up. Dillon is in the room. Paul looks down at his legs only to find one of them gone!!!!!!!!
Paul is distraut and starts panicking and pretty much crying in distress and disbelief at what's happened (pulling some really dramatic, shocked faces; i felt really sorry for him!!!),
That's where it ends!

I watched an episode of neighbours with my brother once... it was very strange.

There was a guy meditating in his pyjamas and there was all this tense music and the phone rang and it made you think it was gonna be someone phoning up to say they were gonna kill him or something... he picked up the phone and said 'hello, mum" and that was the end of the scene :S :S weird...

later in the episode some woman came round and he pushed her over or something and she cracked her head open.. think he went to prison...

can't quite remember properly but it was funny.

ah, i'm not quite a veteran as some of you here.

However some of your comments brought back alot of memories. I think the "accident" episodes are by far the best bit of neighbours.

Like for example, who can remember when Joel got caught under a car and then the river rose? and karl had to make this breathing thing so that he would'nt drown. very tense.

I agree that drew's death was very unexpected, especially as he only fell about 6ft, It seemed ridiculous that he died, but i guess that sort of thing can happen with head injuries.

Oh, i think the most amazing and completely unexpected accident was when todie and dee went off the edge of that cliff into the sea! it was like happy honeymoon one second and then the next she was nowhere to be seen.

I also think dee was the best neighbours women :heh:

Anyway. NEIGHBOURS. God I love that show. Your all so dam retro with it as well. Lance was an idiot as far as I remember... SARAH rocked. Carl was always looking for a fling, we all knew when Izzy came on the scene he was gone. She is also Bob's ORIGIONAL owner. Remember when a storyline was Sarah asking Carl for a reference?... wierd :S.

DEE was SO FINE. And she was a NURSE. I don't like blondes normally but oh my god she was too dam hot in that nurses uniform... Helen Daniel's... i hated that old woman. So annoying. Favourite episode when she finally died.

Although Sky is also dam hot as well... her v Dee for the hottest girl definately. Or Flick... both of them rox my sox. A couple of weeks ago when she was annoyed at boyd and genel (sp?) and she was going on about that thing Dylan wanted 2 take her to.. "oh is that before or after I stradl a car".

Why is that line so hot?

ANYWAY. What I wanted to talk about. Sindy. I think she's EVIL, and has ALWAYS been evil. When Darcy got her to sleep with Toadie... she fell head over heels didn't she... and then "suddenly" Toadie doens't want her. Dee and Toadie get married and... (not forgetting that the body was never found and Neighbours LOVES amnesia) suddenly their brakes go. Now we find out accidents just "happen" around Sindi.

COINCIDENCE? NO.

SINDI KILLED DEE B'CUZ SHE NICKED TOADIE.

You knows it makes sense.

Oh and finally. Stingray > all those other inbred relatives of his.

Think about, Darcy has just had amnesia, Susan had amnesia for ages, not remembering who karl was etc.

Harold fell of a cliff and came back years later, after "forgetting" his whole life.

Actually it does, but I think you have to have your TV modded so that it can't pick up BBC or something. Or you might have to prove that you aren't using it for BBC TV. Something along those lines.

I don't think you'll have trouble dfinding a way of watching neighbours at uni.

It was on at lunchtime, here is what happened;

Sky and Dillon give it a go; Dillon says he'll really try and control his temper from now on,
Dillon goes to see Paul (again); and makes a slight breakthrough. Paul says when he gets out Dillons gonna pay; Dillon says you (Paul) would have done what i did if it was him me (Dillon); Paul doesn't say so, but seems to agree,
More in the bikini shop (such a great story!!),
Darcy won't take the money Issy's raised and keeps blackmailing her; Darcy implies to Karl that he shouldn't trust Issy; Issy goes to see Paul and tells him about Darcy blackmailing her, Paul laughs at her misfortune and then says "you only came to see me because you know i can get you out of your situation because i have contacts"; Issy says to Paul that she wants Darcy eliminated/"taken care of"!!!

However yesterday when Darcy left it was pretty moving. I mean the music and all, and the fact that was offically the end of an era. Darcy had actually been in Neighbours for a very long time, elbeit in and out - and yesterday was the day he finally left. He was actually, I thought, a very good actor.

OMG one of the best episodes of Neighbours EVER!!! Just for all the memories that came back when i saw everyone!!!

My favourite time was when Mal, Billy, Libby, Toady, Anne, Amy and Lance were in it, so was glad to see pretty much all of those in the video; and Billy on the video referring to the great times they used to have together!!

Sarah has put on weight! Hardly recognised her!

Was a great episode full of wonderful memories. Sadly my prediction that Karl and Susan would kiss was thrawted. Seeing Paul was super shame there was no tad :/ and as has been said Sarah has put on wieght. I really think Lance is a dude and wish he would replace conner he is so much cooler/geekier (oxymoron I know but who cares his darth vader costume was cool and geeky!)
