Why do they do this????

Ok every year this situation happens and this year is no different. We have 3 top tier games coming out on the same day.

Kirby, Sonic and Mario Kart

Now needless to say all 3 will be picked up and played but why release them on the same day. Especially pitting Kirby against Mazza Kart I mean Nintendo are asking for trouble there. I know its the christmas rush but a little more planning could have helped these games go further than what they would when put in competition against each other.

I hate it. Last year it was Paper Mario 2 and Minish Cap. Unfortunately for me this year has a back log, I still need to get AW: DS and Castlevania. Looks like there maybe a few games on my christmas list.

Lol yeah, last year it was Paper Mario,Minish Cap,Tales of Symphonia and Metroid Prime 2 all released in the space of 3 weeks.

i dont know why Kirby has taken so long to come to Europe, there's very little text in it, it should of been there in the dry months.

I think the same thing is happening in the Cube line-up aswell. You have Mario Baseball, Shadow the Hedgehog, Battalion Wars, Pokemon XD, Fire Emblem and Mario footy within a few weeks of each other. Its madness.... MADNESS I TELLS YA mwhahahahahahhahahahahahahah.

I've got the US version of Kirby, but it looks like Sonic will have to wait if it's out on the same day as Mario Kart DS.

But yeah, I have no idea why they still do this. It’s supposedly because games sell better in the winter, but I certainly don't see how having multiple quality games released on the same day can help sales. It just means they end up competing against themselves.

I can't find paper mario anywhere. I got thug2 for £6.99 in hmv. And got nintendogs for £10.50 in Gamestation (traded in nfsu2 and got staff discount)

They should of released Kirby about a month ago just so there was a quality game last month to keep the run up to Mario Kart. However instead they´re releasing Nintendogs, Kirby, Mario Kart, Tony Hawk and Sonic very close to each other.
You would of thought a little more careful planning on NOE would have gone far

im getting quite a few games in november :Mario Kart,Sonic ,Shadow the Hegehog,Fire Emblem,Pokemon and still gotta buy nintendogs,Advance wars : DS and castlevania ,they coulda released some during the drought period...

Last year i didn't have a Job, so i wasn't looking at games unless i REALLY wanted them. This year's problem is that I'll probably end up buying all the games i want most before Xmas. I'll have to save a few for my parents to get I guess.

Batallion Wars is one of them, maybe Mario Kart too. I'll use my money to get older games that i still haven't got round to getting. (VJ2, Pikmin2)
