Possible Wii Channels

I don't know if a post like this has been made already, but i couldn't see one. Sorry if there already is one.

I thought why don't people post their ideas for possible wii channels in the future here, like a music channel, messenger channel, e.c.t...

Or if anyone has any news on channels in development, they could post it here to make it easier to find.

Development Channel.

A channel that allows Wii owners to develop simple games using Miis as main characters and then allows them to post them up on WiiConnect24 for others to download.

A media channel is the obvious one with support for Divx, Xvid, MP3 and so on but lets take it a step further and say you can stream content from your PC.
Before you say it I have seen and tried the programs you can use using Opera but its flash movies lol

I had an idea recently, but it's not easy to explain. I'll give it a go, anyway:
A 'Tellii' Channel in wich you can stream live television, but not just television, but television made by Wii users. If you buy the Game 'Telly' you can create television soaps, shows (even live shows) and let them stream to the telly Channel - wich is one every Wii and free to use. Together with some friends, you form a real Television Channel (everybody makes a show per day, and they combine to a network). Using SD cards, you can upload logo's for your telly, programs, upload music and sounds to use in your shows and add movies (if you want news). Using the Wii Microphone (I made that one up) you can speak the voices and so on...

Broadcast yourself using your personal Mii's and making shows. You place camera's and design studios, and use the nunchuk to move the camera's and the Z-button on it to switch between them. Use your remote to interact with the world and control the characters in your show. Afterwards, cut the show and broadcast it ('Wiicast'). You can earn Wiipoints with advertiments (you can ask to advertise your shows on networks, but any company can make their ad and send them out in exchange for their Wiipoint, like real advertisements, but payed with Wiipoints). You can trade your Wiipoints for new characters, sets and so on in the shop. Wouldn't that be great?

A DS Download Channel is nice, too.

I love all your ideas and screenshots, regardless of whether they get turned into reality or not I think you should send them to Nintendo.

I suggested the DS Download Channel in the Tech Board I think, it could also be used to download DS game demos. I don't know if it would be possible either, but when you get GB/GBC games sent to your DS, you should be able to upload it back to the Wii which stores your save game so you don't have to restart the game every time you turn off your DS.

seems silly to have a Wii demo channel, people will treat it as a free version of the virtual console.

Yes, you suggested it (sorry I didn't mention you). What i'm showing here is a streaming download to the DS. You can't exit on Wii, so your game can be saved on Wii in the original mode - not your DS. Everything is stored on Wii. You can't play without a DS, but you can't play it if there's no connection with the Wii. It's kinda stupid, you could just play it on TV. Or... Maybe you could download it in the DS's 4 Mb memory via download play and carry it with you. Wouldn't know what to do with game saves though. Maybe you could buy 'DSPoints' and receive a free EPROM card of DS with it to save your games and download games too. But that would make sharing to easy, and Nintendo doesn't want that.
