I have started playing Killer 7 today and I have just killed the Afro guy. I think im nearly half way through the game now and I still havent got a single clue what the hell is going on. Please tell me everything falls into place before or even at the end?

I'm glad to hear to people are still picking this game up even months after it's release.
Just play the game, and don't worry yourself about the story the first time through, as it'll eventually make some sort of sense in the end.
As it goes, I wouldn't mind playing through it again......................
Edit - I wish I could offer some better advice, but this game pretty much depends on the user and how you see it. In the Killer7 thread on the old forum, people were having alot of mixed ideas about the story as it's just so deep.
....and yes, it will fuck with your head (that's the part everyone who plays it has in common).

Glad to hear it will make some sense. I picked this up on release day and just didnt get round to playing it until now. Gameplay wise its amazing in my eyes. The simplicity of how to control the character is pure genius.

The thing about killer 7 is that it is always quite confusing. You should try looking up one of the many plot discussion topics after completing the game to get a grasp of what is going on. For me i was playing while someone was watching and we spent much time discussing what was going on and what it meant.
It's a confusing plot and i absolutely loved it for it.
So is Killer 7 worth getting? I'm not totally convinced by it so I'm not sure if I will actually enjoy the game. Looks totally fucked up!

Ok I just finished it and I have to say....WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON?!!!!!!!
I still havent a clue to what the whole point of the story was if there was a point. What were the guys at capcom smoking when they made this? I enjoyed the gameplay part of it but the story is just far to weird for me. Im playing through Killer 8 mode tomorrow to see if i can get my head round it.

I bought it at launch, played it a week, and put in on the shelf since then, it's just too repetitive for me. And always the pauzes inbetween when the red fairy guy or the white haired queer need to brabble again. I hate the pauzes, it sucks you right out of the game every time. :(
Did I miss a cutscene or something? I saw a character hand someone a box in the street, then I went into a hospital and shot some Regenerator-looking fellows... and there's a man hanging on a string every time you look around.
I'm frightened.

I didn't really like the game, little things started to piss me off, like how the people you'd talk to had some annoying charlie brown type voice going on. Or at times i felt some things were just being used to be stylish like those guitar riffs or whatever they were started to piss me off too, and it just wasn't doing it for me, and don't get me started on just holding A to move....i was really dissappointed with the game thank god i didn't buy it. Granted i never gave the story a chance but i honestly couldn't handle the gameplay.

I'm glad another person is playing this game, it really deserves the attention. :) Although, you need to put the time into this game to get the most out of it. There are soo many questions that you will have at the end. :)

Yeah, it's supposed to be naff on the PS2, LONG loading times. And apparently weird controls to shoot to?!
It's great on the Cube though, can't remember how far I am now, been playing it on n off.

So you'd recommend it then? I may buy another game once I've finished Resident Evil 4, and this is one of the few I've been considering. I especially like the fact that its trying to be different.

Personally I think it goes too far to be different. I dont mean in terms of gameplay but story telling. I mean its like trying to watch a Japense Manga thats on steriods...the story is that weird.

Killer 7 is one of the greatest games I have ever played, I loved it to bits and I highly recommand it to anyone. Controls are spot on, stoyline confusing but awesome (i like to be confused :)).
If you aint got it then why the fuck not. Go buy it now you wont regret it :D

I loved the controls on Killer7.................it just felt a whole lot more easier to navigate, and kind of makes you wonder why other 3rd person games haven't adopted the same approach, instead of making the player run around the same location 20 times just to find an item.
I don't know why so many reviewers cained the controls either. :wtf:

I just finished the level Cloudsman and so far I'm enjoying it a lot, although sometimes I'm annoyed when I overlook enemies or they aren't in range to be permanently visible after a scan.
The visuals are really nice and that mind disturbing characters and strange story do the rest - a great game imo.
That on-rail movement is a great idea, it increases the pace a lot and at the same time you can't miss any important thing.

Definitely, although sometimes the respawning heaven smilies are annoying but just the graphical style, the characters, the story, the level design, the videos... everything totally awesome.
I completed it yesterday and I'm still a bit confused and disturbed by the ending, but on the other hand it is as logical as this confusing game can get however trying to figure everything out properly gives me only a headache.

Just bought a used copy of this game today. I just spent about an hour with it and havent got used to the on rails control system. I do like that it eliminates unnecessary exploring though and my only gripe is having to scan for enemies. After drawing my gun, scanning, locking-on, and shooting, i basically have every button on the controller held down, feels awkward. If they eliminate scanning, this game would be perfect for the Rev controller

super game, yes quite bizarre, in a strange way it reminds me a bit of Rez (not sure why). I'm only on the second level but the cut scene after the first was excellent, the plot seems quite developed for a computer game. Its the first game I've got since Resi and the only one that has seemed appealing to me.

Help...bumpy smile just killed me about 27 times at the end of the hotel, im trying to pick off the bumps with Kaede, am i using the right Smith?
Konfucius
06-11-2005, 11:44 AM
He starts running towards you when there's only one bump left, so try to leave an easy one like the one on the head and shoot all the other bumps with Kaede. When he starts running at you either shoot the last bump with Kaede or (as I did) change to Con and shoot - the advantage is, that the smile gets close pretty fast and if you miss with Kaede you normally don't have time for a second shot while Con shoots fast enough to shoot multiple times.

I assume this is the most official Killer7 thread there is on this forum?
Anyways... A week ago I was surfing around eBay for sealed copies of killer7 when I stumbled over Killer7 comics. I decided to go to town the next day to order the issues that are out. This friday the 4/8 comics (or something like that) arrived. Really cool comic. I reccomend it to anyone that enjoyed the video game.
(I also added a picture of the 4 issues I got, they're number 1, 3, 3 (2nd version) and 4.)

I dunno if they're actually released in europe. I'm friends with a guy that works in whats proably Trondheim's biggest comic book store, and I asked him if it was possible to get the killer7 comics and then he just ordered them. The little price-tag thingys in the bottom right of the issue covers is in USD so I guess they're from the US.

So far I think its really really cra... classic!
I am loving it so much its really stylish. I have two questions though. Can I heal members of my team? As I have been killed a lot and I went to a TV station and I pressed A a few times and it says I have no more blood? What was the blood for? The devil shot? Or something else.
Anyway I love this game Im even loving this new character who I have been playing his reload animation! Cyoate or something. Anyway better play some more. :p

Turning and running is the easiest way or you can try to kill them from a distance with KAEDE. just shoot them in the eye.

Before they drop down on you, they open their eye but it's tough to hit them and if you don't hit them, they hit you.
It worked with moderate success though, but I also recommend running when they start falling down.

But I really needed to stop playing and just wanted to start the next level but couldn't find a save point! Ah well start level again. Also during the first level I was kinda thinking the plot would be the wheelchair guy had gone mental and you were fighting for his sanity after he had killed so many people. Here is an important lesson: Check and double check for typos, grammar and that you have the correct domain name on the back of the game’s box cover, before printing it and sending out to retailers.
The back cover of the Nintendo GameCube and Sony PS2 “Killer 7″ game is suppose to point gamers to the game’s website Killer-7.com. However, somehow, someone, seems to have missed the hyphen in the name. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the domain which it now points to is not exactly a family friendly site. (Check at your own risk - NSFW)
Here is the bottom of the Game Cube version of the box cover:

Hmmm, I disagree, there's nothing liek the smell of opening a factory sealed game!
I realize it, but I think my only chance to get Killer 7 is a used one. I just phrased it so I wouldn't miss the smell of factory sealed game, because that might never happen to top-notch games. The only sensation I will get from the factory sealed game, would be Disney games or something.
And, Moria: How much would you sell it for me? I don't quite trust eBay. I once gave away my card number for them and I've experienced that someone's been tapping my bank account for about £10 each month. You can add that up for a year and then multiply with about 7 years. I never bothered to anything about until recently when I changed my income bank account.
However, would other choices to I have expect from PayPal. CCBill, perhaps?
Lastly, Nintendork: I might be willing to pay for your asking price, but I'm not totally sure yet. I'll have to wait. B)

I got mine from GAME, they said it was new and I paid 19.99 for it. It was not new, they are arses!

I had the exact same problem, it had a £19.99 new sticker and it was pre-owned.
They have square stickers for new games and circle ones for pre-owned with a rectangle on the back sometimes.
I made them show me the discs and manual first.. they were good but it's the principle. The box was shitty.

I got this game on launch thinking it would be good due to it's originality, and i did not like it one bit. The gameplay is good at first, then it's just walk along until you hear a laugh, then look around in the blind hope you can see the enemy before he/she/it murders you. Plus, it seemed to try to be too weird and confusing, to the point where i couldn't be bothered to play anymore.
Still, you've gotta love hitting an enemys' weak spot."you're f****d".

I agree about the weird bit, does anyone understand what was going on??? If so please discuss here and enlighten me? The whole bit of the locked room in his trailor with Kun and Harmen playing chess??? What was that?

Picked this up for £10 today [along with Viewtiful Joe 2]. Great game, if not a little bit of a mind-fsck :P
Great news guys and gal! I finally was able to find a used copy of Killer 7 at amazon.co.uk. That is just awesome. In a couple of weeks I'll finally be able to find out why this game is so weird and different and awe-inspiring. ;P
