I know theres a thread about this somewhere, but its way off the main page, anyways move/delete if necessary.

Picked this up on saturday for the ds and wasnt excpecting mutch. Afte playing it for the first time im blown away. What a great effort EA have made. The graphics are nothing amazing, good enough for the ds, has good multiplayer options, even has music on the menus like on consoles. Only played it for a little while but id urge anyone to go out and get it.

yes it actually has the proper music, it has stuff by oasis and jamuriqui (sp)

I like the lil extra that EA have put in, like for example events happen and you have to respond and it effects ratings (Kinda like the Swashbuckler rating in SOAL)
For example: Your player was expelled form a chairty event for using profanity conitunesly in front of children. The team is angry about this and the player is now refusing to give back the fee the chairty paid him
Do you: Give the charity the clubs money to keep a good reputation
Not get involved with players personal lives
Promise to send out a better player at a later date

:) I thought it was awful, as always with EA the 'package' is exceptional, and as is usual with EA the game is a bit of a letdown. Each to their own I suppose, glad you guys are enjoying it.

Aye, but they are trying their best and the games have got (marginally) better each year. The real make or break time for FIFA is next gen and when they hopefullt overhual the whole game engine.

EDIT: Ah, just realied this is the handheld thread :o For the DS FIFA seems to me very poor but I just wish Konami would release just one WE screen shot so as to see how it's shaping up.

i also picked it up and love it! the only track ive really heard is a bloc party one when i press pause... havent played it much due to nintendodogs

It's really not a bad game it actually pretty good. It's easily EA Sports best DS game yet. 4/5 and online,better graphics and fine tune gameplay it's probally as good as a football game could get on a DS. We will have to see when Winning eleven comes out in 06.

Moria, buy it from GAME, if you dont like it then you can take it back and get a full refund. If you dont want to pay 30 for it, do it anyway, if you like it, take it back and order it from play!!!

The game also has 30 challenges for you to go through I have only 3 left. I think the audio in this game in great for the DS with the music, crowd, and even the one man commentator.

I was also suprised that you could view all your goal highlights after the games.

Actually when I first got the game I thought that everything was just gonna poor quality like Madden 06 DS so I wasn't expecting much. But when I started playing it I saw that EA really tried to make the game of good quality. I actually just skipped Fifa 06 on the consoles based on previous fifa's (they suck). And I have already played Fifa DS more than 03,04,05 all together. I actually have fun playing this game.

To me the audio is the most impressive part of the game. I can't wait until 07 add online,fine tune gameplay, and do what they can to improve the graphics. And I think it would be a perfect DS football game.
