Well, i guess many of you have either read my last thread, or have figured out that there is no option for you guys to create threads yourselves.

We won't go into that. But basically, that's the situation. Mods and Admins can create threads for this board, and you shall be able to post in them. Free of charge, hehe...*nervous laughter*

Anyway, the whole point of this thread is for you guys to suggest a thread that will be added to this board.
Us staffers are going to miss something. We may forget to create a thread about, i dunno, the first game you put into your Wii. In that case, what you guys can do is suggest a thread in here.

If you don't see a thread about Wii Connect 24, but think that a topic should be created for that function, then say so in here, and either myself or somebody else will be happy enough to post a new thread about it for you.

It would be helpful if:

You could post the thread title exactly as you would like it
You could post the first post of that thread in here, for us to copy and paste into a new thread
You could mention WHEN you would like this thread to be created. IE, the day before launch, launch morning, etc


We're all on the same side here, guys. We want this launch experience to be a memorable one. We don't want you thinking "oh damn, there was too much spam for me to enjoy my launch day forum experience", or "i wish there were more threads."

So, suggest away.

However, if there is one thing i ask, it is that i want this to stay on topic. We don't want offtopic discussion in this. I'm going to be mean, but i think i am being right: Just leave a title, first post, whatnot, and leave.

When you say major titles, i think we have to define what we mean by major titles.

i got a weird call from game telling me there were 'problems with my order' and 'i should call back asap'

i got a cold chill and thought that i wasn;t getting one... when i called i found out that they 'just wanted to get my order ready for collection' and then tried to sell me several bundles I didn't want.

what a scam.... as if a branch of game bundles up peoples orders... they just fetch them from out the back and get the games out of the naff glass case behind the counter.

anyway... i was wondering if this has been widespread???

The way i see it, this place is going to get spammed to death. When Friday comes around, the moment an admin or available mod isn't online, this place will turn into a disaster zone. It's happened at past E3s and it will happen again.

This way, you'll have the relevant topics to post in (come launch day, or the night before when they get created). It's far better this way. It'll be organised, tidy, and there will be less spam. It's more manageable. Far, far better than having 10 of the same "WII IS AMAZING!" topics.

i have a sugestion (sorry v bad spelling day today so upset i didnt get my wii:cry: )

a thread about bringing the whole family together. I have seen a few people mention how their family are getting into the wii and for the first time in about 10 years i heard my mum say "are you getting oe of those it looks like good fun." the last time i heard that was when i had my nintendo scope for my snes and i couldn't get a go as familly wouldn't stop playing it. she also said that the whole family should get a ds that way we could play games and the looser does the washing up hehe

There should be a sticky about the sensor bar, i see alot of people are having problems, move towards it further away ajust the height of the bar etc etc, that sorts it out.


Hmm, although I think that it could go in the hardware thread/wii problems, a seperate thread may be a good idea. I'll think about this one some more.

I know its soon but wouldn't be cool a talk about thought for the next Zelda? I mean ok we had OoT which was like the best game ever. Now we get TP that is taking everything that make OoT so good and make them even better. Examples for thoughts are. Music. Just a quick suggestion - I have telewest broadband at home (in my spare room) and my Wii is in the lounge - I'm gonna buy a wirerless cable router for this very purpose. Now my suggestion is we have a router thread where Wii users who arer using routers can share which make/model of router they are using and whether it is cable or not.

They can also say how easy setting up was and performance.

I also dunno whether to get a 54 or 108 speed one so this should also help!

Oh man was I glad I had the wrist strap on when playing Tennis earlier!

My hands was a little moist, and it just slipped clean out of my hand. The strap saved it from certain destruction....! :o

Not sure if there is already one, but how about a Wii ideas thread, people post ideas about how the controller could be used, now they've got a better idea about it.

For instance, I think the controller could bring new life to the Crazy Taxi series with an excite truck style control method, flicking the controller up for the crazy jump etc. and I'm sure they could think up some good uses for crazy box/pyramid.

The Come in Here if You're Using the Opera Browser Thread.

OK, so the point of the thread is for when we've all got the Opera browser, we can enter the the forum, and write messages on this thread. But only messages from your Wii console. There's not much point to it other than the novelty of using your Wii instead of the PC for the first time. But I still think I'd enjoy writing a post from my Wii. It might be quite time consuming tho.
