Check that out. Nintendo have created a profile page for Wii :D

This is great advertising as theres a link with the picture on the www.bebo.com homepage, LOADS of people will see it!

I think this is great for getting people informed about Wii.

i got a bebo account, but i hardly ever go there, only got it cuz a friend of mine sent me an invite and since she was gracious enough to sign up to youtube for me i thought i should sign up to bebo for her.

Anyway i noticed the Nintendo page last week, i tried adding them as a friend and about a week later i was added, haha, i hope they took the time to look at my profile in which i embedded the youtube stream of N-Europes Video report at the Wii Roadshow in Dublin

I dont think its a bad idea. Its just another aspect to their online marketing strategy.

I go to a university where everyone, and I mean everyone has a bebo profile. Thats 20,000 + people who log on daily and will see Nintendo's Wii ads. Nintendo are trying to reach as many people as possible with their advertising campaign and with bebo the 2nd most accessed web-site in Ireland, a hell of a lot of people will see it.

huh? But isn't that like the biggest site of that type in the world?

I don't really get those kind of sites, just posting comments on peoples profiles and such, a forum (like here) is MUCH better way to get to know people

yeah i meant that too,

like when my friend got me to join bebo i looked some profiles and conversations are very disjointed, you have to go back and fort between profiles to get the full convo. It's like a private convo but its public, WTF?
