Anyway yes. Me & Ollie and 2 other mates are going to the the Love Music, Hate Racism fundraiser at fabric nightclub in London this thursday night. Anyone else going?

Should be a good night. Doors open at 8:30 and think it shuts around 3am.

Loads of bands are playing and loads of other artists for people with different tastes will also be there in different rooms. There will be a lot of music I dont like but tickets were only £16! well worth it especially cos my favourite pete doherty is gonna be there :hehe: (if he turns up)

For £16 I would say that's a pretty decent and varied line up. No doubt there's going to be some people who are going to say it's shit because there's 'too much popular indie', 'too much dance' or 'no Ecuadorian metal', but I'd go along if I lived in London. Damn London, always gets the best stuff.

Agreed best man for the job I say. I'm not saying a black or muslim policeman isn't as good as a white one but if I went to apply to join the Police I would be turned away. But if I was black, muslim or any other ethnic minority I would be accepted with open arms.

I've got a little story about that.

A good friend of mine has a boyfriend who tried to join the fire brigade. He got turned away because they were trying to attract black or ethnic minority for the job. Now, i don't agree with that. Sure, i'm all for attracting other ethnic minorities for various professions, but i also think that they were wrong to turn him away, purely for the reason that he wasn't black.

I think you should always employ the best person for the job, whether they're white, black or purple.
