It's the 1st day of this now!!!
You get MP3s, Desktop icons and the lark for completing levels (I don't know if you get extra rewards for getting all the snowflakes and such).

I've had a play of the first level, and it's quite a fun little platformer.

For completing each level you get some desktop wallpapers and icons, and an MP3 to use as a ringtone. All are related to a certain game each day, which I'll list below.

Yea, but you do get a shiny snowflake on the "overview"

My guess is you get something for getting all of them on all levels. (or each "section")

Day 2: Metroid Prime Hunters

Today's level features lots more coloured penguins to destroy. Also a new larger yellow coloured penguin is thrown into the mix as well, but can still easily be killed via jumping on it's head. There's lots of small platforms to jump across to reach some of the higher platforms where the snowflakes are hidden, and don't forget to check down by the water as well for some other snowflakes tucked away.

Anyway I'm guessing the big suprise is the option to download the entire game to your desktop/computer maybe with a few added levels for good measure. :)

3rd Level

Well, realizing that you can use the sapac bar to jump made it much easier.For some reason, this seemed to be the easiest one so far (or perhaps I'm just getting used to the game), beat it with all snowflakes on my second go. New enemy in this one is a polar bear which rolls snowballs down slopes.

And you win Super Princess Peach stuff (but no ringtone or desktop icons).

While playing the 3rd Level-I was noticing a lot of lag on some parts. Anyone else have that problem? Some of this tiny Ice Pillars are a pain to jump onto. Sometimes it's just easier to stand on a ice platform and let it dip into the sea do you can do a running jump at a better angle to reach the snowflakes.

By the way, how the hell does this thing save your progress? I deleted my temp files but it still has 4 open doors with all of the snowflakes collected. ::shrug:

Day 5 is Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon. The Dancing polarbear makes a return in this leve with more snowballs to throw at you. You also have to balance on sea-saw ice platforms to reach some Snowflakes and do some more Whale dodging/Sealion hoping.

Download includes x2 Wallpaper, x 1 MP3 Ringtone (Mysterious Dungeon overworld theme, x6 screenshots, etc)

Collected all 120 snowflakes thats 5/5 for me.

Yeah the large part is getting the 2 snowflakes while bouncing along on those sealions and avoiding the killer whale.

Disappointing level. Looked hard, but beat it on my second try with all snowflakes.

Day 6 is Sudoku Master. For clearing this level you get 2 wallpapers, one is far too Maths like for my liking and the second wallaper has a woman on it looks far too smug for my liking.

This level also features a Whale, that you can jump on and ride it's water spout to reach some high up snowflakes. When I got all the snowflakes I got a funny sounding noise. It might just be to signal that I've collected all the snowflakes in that first area.

Oh and they have added a feedback option so you can send feedback via email about what you think of the advent calender/game.

Thanks I went back and replayed Day 6 to get my 3rd Heart. You need to take the top route across the icy pillars/small platforms to reach it.

Today is Animal Crossing: Wild World day. You get a couple of wallpapers, desktop icons and a ringtone.

Are people still playing this? I know everyone is starry eyed over their new Wii and Xmas but I still think this is an ace game. Time for catch up?


Forest Zone-The Forest zone, features lots of trees to climb on, Giant spider webs to climb on and Fireflies that either float in one set postion of move around in the air. There is also some swampy style water with logs in which sink when you walk on them. Other enemies include ants on the floor, walking trees (can't be killed), Spiders in a web, and Giant spiders that like to fall ontop of you when you pass underneath them.

Ice Mountain Zone-The Ice mountain is all about large jumps upwards. Some Steep hills and lots of Ice style baddies. There are clouds to jump on as well (some sink and other moves around in a set pattern)

Day 14-Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney inlcude Wallpapers, Screenshots and video + Desktop Icons

Ice Cave Zone-The Final cave zone, is all about small passages and lots of baddies. There are scorpions which can't be killed and lots of icicles that must be jumped over and avoided.

Day 20- Wiiplay inlcudes Wallpapers, Screenshots and video

Inside the Ice Cave-The Icy cave is a lot warmer inside. There are lots of Fire Flies to dodge, some tricky jumps and Seasaw style rocks to carefully balance on. This game also features a lava floor-which is instant death.

I reckon todays level has been the most tricky. Lots of tricky jumps and icicles to avoid on the floor/ceiling as well.

How in blazes do get the extra container in the forest zone, I can see it but really can't work out how it can be got to.

If you go backwards at the start of the level you can climb up higher and eventually jump down into the tree trunk!

Day 23-Mario Kart DS-Includes Wallpaper, Screenshots, Video, MP3 (ringtone) Desktop icons.

This level is pretty easy, the only really tricky part is getting the 3/4th Snowflakes. Sometimes you tend to over jump and land on the above platform instead of the lower sinking platform that contains the snowflakes.

I wonder if I copied all the stuff onto a CD and put it on ebay if anyone would bid on it?

Don't expect anything amazing for doing any of it.
