Blue + Pink DS Thread

Hm, seeing as the blue and pink DS' are released tommorow. I thought this would be a nice thread for people buying the DS for the first to to come in and give feedyback and first impressions of the machine.

I certinaly am getting the Lab Blue DS Bundle after the promise of Mario Kart Online :yes: , Final Fantasy III, and the truckload of games that were announced yesterday.
But what I'm wondering is that what titles I should buy along with Nintendogs? I should be able to afford about 2, so any recommendations for(Blue DS)launch titles?

Advance wars is a great game, i would recommend that, it has a lot of options to play through. also get mario 64

I recommend Advance Wars above anything on DS so far to all you new owners. Others I recommend are
Kirby Canvas Curse(import)
Meteos(if you like puzzle games)
Another Code(get cheap if you can, its short)

Mario 64 is great though I got bored with it to be honest, its virtualy the same game ive played through so many times beofre.

Also, Another Code is quite disppointing, im nearly finished with it so will be selling it within the next day or two.

Great games - Advance Wars, Castlevania, Zoo Keeper, Yoshis Touch and Go and Feel the Magic. Also Meteos is meant to be pretty good!!

My brother wants a DS for online Mario Kart - hes 29 and hasnt bought a machine since the Megadrive!! I'll probably make him get a blue one and swap it with my grey one and give him £30 or something!!

Another Code was a good game I thought. Worth a luck if you like that type of point & click game.

Wario Ware Touched is brilliant fun. A must for any DS owner.

Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is another excllent game to buy as is Super Mario 64 DS.

I think so... I dunno. But I had like 3 in it when I first got it, then after a while I started noticing more. I've got 2 on my Zelda GBA SP too, ;_; I don't really mind 'cause I've got another SP and I only bought the Zelda one 'cause it's pretty... but still... how unlucky is that? D:

I hate this, i really want to impulse buy one but then theres £100 out the Xbox 360 funds and i still dont have enough for the premium one anyway...what do i doooo?

I know someone from school who has an imported one, and it's kinda aquaish. I don't really like it at all.

From the pictures I've seen the pink one is much nicer.. espechally with the white accents.

I don't know if its out over there yet, but if Kerby Canvas Curse is out deffently pick that one up.. best game for the DS so far.

being a sucker for different colours, i got the pink nintendogs bundle. So i now have a red one and a pink one, though im selling the red one. Picked up meteos, castelvania and fifa 06 as well.

Well I got my Blue DS + Nintendogs Lab bundle yesterday (as pictured). I also picked up Meteos half-price as part of an offer at Gamestation. Basically, when you buy a DS at GS, you have the choice of purchasing any game at half-price, which I thought was a nice offer. I'm enjoying Nintendogs a lot so far, in fact I think I'm gonna go and play some now.

I got the blue bundle aswell today and I am quite happy with it. Funny thing is that they moved all the PSPs away to make space for the NDS bundles hehe.

after the playin the pink one, id have to say its a very understated shade of pink, tis not bright and in your face. The bottom colour white complements it well.

Nothing confirmed, but I hope so.
It would be wise for nintendo to release the Black and White colours in Europe the same day as Mario Kart DS comes out, and then there could be bundles with them.
