Reminds me of a quote on BASH.org...

Something like "Why don't we remove warning messages from everything and let the idiots take care of themselves".

I like the one on the food processor; "Not to be used for the other use." I have no idea what its supposed to mean.

I was waiting for the Superman one the whole way down the list; I love that :)

Earlier today I was installing another DVD drive and happened to skim across the Pioneer instructions.

'Do not splash DVD drive with water or place in vase'

Glad I read it, was about to have a water fight around all my equipment.

Is that also saying not to put your DVD in a vase? :indeed: why would you? :S

You'd need to find a mean ass vase to fit a DVD player in it.

the one about the pudding made me laugh the most.

The vision of someone turning a pudding upside down and reading it is just great.

wow stupid as hell, wonder how much the people who came up with those instructions got paid

Well it's not a stupid as you'd think. I guess they mainly put those warnings up for stupid people -and y'know there's a lot of them out there- to avoid lowsuits..
i heard of a woman that put her cat in the microwave to dry its hair, and when the cat died she sewed the micorowave company because it didnt say "Dont put pets in microwave, will kill them" on the manual. Apearantly she won too!

So, i get it.. better safe than sorry.
