Downloadable demos?

A little tidbit from Ngamer:

Q: Any other plans for Virtual Console?

A: With games like Gottlieb Pinball Classics, you can download a one table demo before you buy the full product. We've been leading the way with pushing games online.

This is taken forom page 103 of the new Ngamer and is an interview with Mark Cale of System 3.

Leads me to wonder will downloadable demos of new games be available on VC aswell? admittedly something like pinball classics won't be a large file, but surely with the large SD card compatability downloading game demos is definitly a possibilty. its worked on xbox live so why not connect24?

Get the downloads on the service. Nintendo still has not revealed full online details. Matchmaking, friend lists, chat features, demos, other content. We need to know this stuff soon.

Sme demos will be to big for the internal flash memory in the Wii but some demos like these will fit in fine.We better get demo discs though.
But yea,we know bugger all about the online service so far anyway so we should know soon.

yeah i know, just hoping that we wil get them so much...cmon nintendo reveal more online stuff, guess we will find out more from US launch in just 9 days...

I bet they're still finalising it all, which is why we haven't had details yet. It's good, because it means at least they're still thinking about their options, what they can add, etc.
