Sonic Heroes Lost Jungle help!

Help me mates!I am stuvk in the Lost Jungle stage in Sonic Heroes...First of all i am very irritated by the bug that when you try to make the "press B to follow the rings" trick ,sonic gets just the first ring and then falls into the void...

But my question is this:How the heck am i supposed to pass the alligator?I mena yes,i press the A button at the end of the vine movement (at the highest point) but sonic keeps falling into the void!And sometimes he reaches the next one,grabs it,but immediatly leaves it!Like having Lemmings' suicidial mood!

Please help me,cause i almost broke my Wavebird today!!!:cry: :weep: :angry: :horse:

Solution: Burn the disc, no really, get any flame and throw the disc in.

Basically,yeah,it is a very glitchy game,but as a sonic fan i MUST finish it:shakehead

I have the game and would very much like to finish it at some point. Terrible game, but, as an avid sonic fan [It's what got me into gaming :D] I have to complete them all. Finished it with Team Rose, nearly with Tea Hero and Team Dark. Team Chaotix was just too weird..

To get past the alligator will require a bit of good fingerwork. You have to time the A button just right so the game knows you're locking on to something. It's a big glitch in the game and a big reason for its failure.

Seems a bit easier with Team Dark - press A at the end of each swing (ie when the character swinging closest to you) and don't touch the control stick. The boosts/catapults/bounce pads/etc that send you flying through the air onto a grind rail, vine, etc are generally laid out so you won't fall to your death provided you don't try control your character in the air.

If you live in the UK, i found my local Game had Sonic Heroes player's guides in their discount basket for 99p about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Getting that inspired me to pick it up again & try finish the rest of the teams' modes.

Yeh, it's mainly timing you need to get past it. Just wait until you get to the castle though, that made me pull my hair out and go bald in my mid teens :P
